Connected to your pet, wherever you go. Setup takes about 5 minutes — your dog will approve.
You'll need: a Fire TV / Fire TV Stick or a Google TV device, plus a phone.
Do the Part 1 that matches your device — then Parts 2 & 3 are the same for everyone.

Which device do you have?
Both paths use one free app: Downloader by AFTVnews. ⚠️ Several lookalikes ask for money ("Go Pro," "$4.99/week") — those are fakes. Pick the one whose label reads "by AFTVnews" — trust the words, not the icon.
Part 1 — On your Fire TV
Search the Appstore for Downloader (orange icon) and install it — it's a free, official Amazon Appstore app.
Allow it to install apps: Settings → My Fire TV → About → click your device name 7 times, go back → Developer Options → Install unknown apps → Downloader → ON.
Open Downloader and enter this address:

then choose Install and open PetView.
The TV shows a 6-digit code. Leave it on screen.
Part 1 — On your Google TV
Google TV devices include an onn., Chromecast with Google TV, or a TV with Google TV built in.
From the home screen, open the Apps tab (some devices call it the Google Play Store), tap search 🔎, and install Downloader (the orange icon above, by AFTVnews).
Open Downloader, type this address and press Go:

When it asks about installing unknown apps, pick Settings → turn Downloader ON → go back → Install. If a Play Protect warning appears, tap Install anyway. (No "debugging" to switch on — just allow Downloader to install.)
Open PetView — the TV shows a 6-digit code. Leave it on screen.
No "allow" option at step 3? Turn it on once: Settings → System → About → "Android TV OS build" (click it 7×), then retry. Still no debugging needed.
⚙️ First time you open PetView — before your code shows, it walks you through a couple of one-time permissions. Just follow the on-screen "Setup:" prompts:
Display over other apps: find PetView in the list, switch it ON, then press Back.
Accessibility: open it, find PetView Auto-Play, switch it ON (this is what auto-plays your shows), then press Back.
One-time only — after this, PetView opens straight to your code.
Part 2 — On your phone
Open petviewtv.com in your browser.
Tap Create account and sign up with an email + password.
Name your TV (e.g. "Living Room"), then type in the 6-digit code from the TV — you're paired for good.
Part 3 — Try everything
Library → Browse: pick your pet (dogs, cats, birds) and tap a video — it plays on the TV instantly. Tap the ⭐ to save it.
Library → Saved: add your own with + Add video. Open a show on the app's website (netflix.com, hulu.com, disneyplus.com…), copy the address, and paste it in — PetView tells you which app it'll play on.
Library → Playlists: build a mix of videos that plays back-to-back and auto-advances on its own.
🚪 I'm leaving: pick a playlist + volume, one tap starts the whole show. You can even schedule it for the days and times you head out.
Then actually leave the house and control it from anywhere — that's the magic part.
First time in? A quick guided tour pops up and walks you through these steps — follow along or tap Skip. Tap the ? button in the corner anytime to replay it.
Good to know
YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Max, Paramount+, Tubi all play a specific title. Tubi is free — no subscription needed.
Disney+ links: start the movie playing on disneyplus.com and copy that address (it has "/play/") so it auto-starts.
Prime Video & Paramount+ open the title but need one tap on the TV remote to start (press OK / pick a profile) — great as a "set it as you leave" pick, not for unattended playlists.
Hulu usually plays straight through. On a cold start it can open to a "Who's watching?" profile screen instead — if you see it, tap your profile once with the TV remote and it'll play. Nothing's broken.
The "time left" counter on a playlist is a rough estimate and may look off — the video on the TV is what's real. We're polishing it.
